I've always been drawn to the places between the landmarks. The creek beside the trail. The moss-covered stones beneath my feet. The way sunlight dances across moving water before disappearing back into the shade of the forest.
Inspired by the creek beds that weave through Vancouver Island's coastal forests, this painting celebrates the quieter side of the Pacific Northwest. Not the sweeping vista, but the small moments of wonder found when we slow down enough to notice them.
Rich mossy greens, flowing water, and weathered stone come together to create a sense of calm, curiosity, and connection to the wild places that continue to shape us.
Material Specifications
Paper Prints:
All paper prints are printed on matte, cotton-rag, archival paper, elegantly textured for a mould-made feel with a streamlined 1" white border.
Canvas Prints:
Canvas prints are printed in a sumptuous satin finish using Breathing Color LYVE canvas with award-winning, OBA free, truly archival, museum-grade canvas with incredible dMax and sharp detail. We carefully coat all of our canvas prints with Breathing Color Timeless Coatings, which are certified 100+ year archival by the Fine Art Trade Guild and offer superior UV protection. Stretched canvas prints are built upon 1.5" deep stretcher bars offering presence off the wall and a museum feel. The sides of the canvas are treated in a solid black colour.
Rolled canvas prints include a 2.5" border which allows for stretching on bars up to 1 1/2" deep.
Sizing:
Unframed (rolled) print dimensions are exact to what is shown on the store. For example, a 20x20" paper print measures 20" by 20". This measurement includes the 3/4" white boarder. An unframed 40x40" canvas print includes a 2.5" border, for a total dimension of 45x45" (the image area is 40x40").

Availability:
Unframed (rolled) prints and framed paper prints are available globally. Framed canvas prints are currently available within Canada.
Insurance:
Your shipment is also insured, covering any damage upon arrival. If you do have this happen, please take photos of the package upon arrival and we will begin a claim for you where your order will be reprinted and shipped.
