Inspired by a walk along the Lighthouse Loop in Ucluelet Lighthouse Loop, this piece captures the contrast that makes the outer coast so unforgettable. A still tidal pool mirrors the sky like glass while, just beyond it, the wild Pacific churns and crashes against the rocks. Quiet and chaos existing side by side.

Painted from memories of wandering the coastline near Tofino and Ucluelet, this piece carries the feeling of salt spray in the air, tangled shoreline grasses beneath your boots, and golden evening light stretching across the water. The swirling reflections and rich coastal blues were meant to feel immersive and alive, like standing at the edge of the world watching the tide breathe in and out.
Material Specifications

Paper Prints:

All paper prints are printed on matte, cotton-rag, archival paper, elegantly textured for a mould-made feel with a streamlined 1" white border.

Canvas Prints:

Canvas prints are printed in a sumptuous satin finish using Breathing Color LYVE canvas with award-winning, OBA free, truly archival, museum-grade canvas with incredible dMax and sharp detail. We carefully coat all of our canvas prints with Breathing Color Timeless Coatings, which are certified 100+ year archival by the Fine Art Trade Guild and offer superior UV protection. Stretched canvas prints are built upon 1.5" deep stretcher bars offering presence off the wall and a museum feel. The sides of the canvas are treated in a solid black colour.

Rolled canvas prints include a 2.5" border which allows for stretching on bars up to 1 1/2" deep.

Sizing:

Unframed (rolled) print dimensions are exact to what is shown on the store. For example, a 20x20" paper print measures 20" by 20". This measurement includes the 3/4" white boarder. An unframed 40x40" canvas print includes a 2.5" border, for a total dimension of 45x45" (the image area is 40x40").

Unframed (rolled) prints and framed paper prints are available globally. Framed canvas prints are currently available within Canada.

Insurance:

Your shipment is also insured, covering any damage upon arrival. If you do have this happen, please take photos of the package upon arrival and we will begin a claim for you where your order will be reprinted and shipped.
