Inspired by the meeting place between land and sea, this piece explores the quiet poetry of the coast. Washed in layers of soft ocean blues, it captures a fleeting moment where a rolling wave catches the light, a distant island lingers on the horizon, and everything feels suspended between movement and stillness.
I wanted this painting to evoke that unmistakable coastal feeling. Salt air on your skin, the rhythm of the tide, and the endless conversation between water, sky, and shoreline. The loose washes and fluid forms allow the piece to feel dreamlike and open-ended, more a memory than a destination.
A celebration of island life, shifting tides, and the wild beauty found where the ocean meets the land. A reminder to wander, to wonder, and to carry a little bit of the coast with you wherever you are.
Material Specifications
Paper Prints:
All paper prints are printed on matte, cotton-rag, archival paper, elegantly textured for a mould-made feel with a streamlined 1" white border.
Canvas Prints:
Canvas prints are printed in a sumptuous satin finish using Breathing Color LYVE canvas with award-winning, OBA free, truly archival, museum-grade canvas with incredible dMax and sharp detail. We carefully coat all of our canvas prints with Breathing Color Timeless Coatings, which are certified 100+ year archival by the Fine Art Trade Guild and offer superior UV protection. Stretched canvas prints are built upon 1.5" deep stretcher bars offering presence off the wall and a museum feel. The sides of the canvas are treated in a solid black colour.
Rolled canvas prints include a 2.5" border which allows for stretching on bars up to 1 1/2" deep.
Sizing:
Unframed (rolled) print dimensions are exact to what is shown on the store. For example, a 20x20" paper print measures 20" by 20". This measurement includes the 3/4" white boarder. An unframed 40x40" canvas print includes a 2.5" border, for a total dimension of 45x45" (the image area is 40x40").

Unframed (rolled) prints and framed paper prints are available globally. Framed canvas prints are currently available within Canada.
Insurance:
Your shipment is also insured, covering any damage upon arrival. If you do have this happen, please take photos of the package upon arrival and we will begin a claim for you where your order will be reprinted and shipped.
