Inspired by a hike to Kelly Falls with my dad along the Sunshine Coast, this piece captures one of those simple adventures that become part of the fabric of your life. Tucked among towering evergreens and moss-covered rock, the falls spill through the forest with a quiet energy, carving their way toward the valley below.
What I love most about this place is the feeling it gives you. The cool mist in the air, the scent of cedar and fir, the sound of rushing water echoing through the trees, and the sense that nature is carrying on exactly as it always has. Painted from memory and experience, this piece is as much about connection as it is about landscape. Connection to place, to family, and to the countless walks that shape us over time.
For me, Kelly Falls is a reminder that some of life's richest moments are not found in grand destinations, but in shared adventures, muddy boots, and the people beside us on the trail.
Material Specifications
Paper Prints:
All paper prints are printed on matte, cotton-rag, archival paper, elegantly textured for a mould-made feel with a streamlined 1" white border.
Canvas Prints:
Canvas prints are printed in a sumptuous satin finish using Breathing Color LYVE canvas with award-winning, OBA free, truly archival, museum-grade canvas with incredible dMax and sharp detail. We carefully coat all of our canvas prints with Breathing Color Timeless Coatings, which are certified 100+ year archival by the Fine Art Trade Guild and offer superior UV protection. Stretched canvas prints are built upon 1.5" deep stretcher bars offering presence off the wall and a museum feel. The sides of the canvas are treated in a solid black colour.
Rolled canvas prints include a 2.5" border which allows for stretching on bars up to 1 1/2" deep.
Sizing:
Unframed (rolled) print dimensions are exact to what is shown on the store. For example, a 20x20" paper print measures 20" by 20". This measurement includes the 3/4" white boarder. An unframed 40x40" canvas print includes a 2.5" border, for a total dimension of 45x45" (the image area is 40x40").

Unframed (rolled) prints and framed paper prints are available globally. Framed canvas prints are currently available within Canada.
Insurance:
Your shipment is also insured, covering any damage upon arrival. If you do have this happen, please take photos of the package upon arrival and we will begin a claim for you where your order will be reprinted and shipped.
